Beerus agrees to arrange a competition that puts the best warriors from each of their planets against one another when Champa, his brother and Universe Six’s God of Destruction, persuades him to do so. The Super Dragon Balls, which are planet-sized and can nearly grant any desire, will be given to the tournament winner as their prize. Champa intends to trade Universe Six’s barren planet for Universe Seven’s so that people may enjoy their cuisine. Goku and his friends made the decision to participate in the competition. The most crucial match in the competition is regarded as being between Goku and Hit. Goku forfeits the fight since he is unable to match Hit’s strength. When Hit withdraws from the championship match, Universe Seven wins. Beerus has a strong desire for the Super Dragon Balls to revive the planet Earth in Universe Six.
Lord Zen, the king of all planets, strikes up a chat with Goku and befriends him. Goku also promises to bring Lord Zen a companion. After some time has passed, Future Trunks shows up, bringing with him word of an enemy known as Goku Black, who resembles Goku.
